International Overdose Awareness Week is a global campaign held annually at the end of August to raise awareness about drug overdoses, reduce the stigma surrounding drug-related deaths, and honor the memory of those lost. It is also a time to support families, friends, and communities who have been affected, while promoting education and prevention strategies.
