Dumfries Wawa Ribbon Cutting
September 4th, Vice Chair Andrea Bailey proudly joined Madam Chair Deshundra Jefferson, Dumfries Vice Mayor Monaé Nickerson, Town Manager Tangela Innis, Councilmembers Shaun Peet, Brian Fields, Caetrina Peterson, and Russell Young, along with the Dumfries Police and Fire Departments, dedicated Town staff, and community residents to celebrate the grand opening of the new Wawa Gas Station in Dumfries. This exciting addition marks not only a new business investment in the Town of Dumfries, but also an opportunity to create jobs, expand economic growth, and provide greater convenience for residents and travelers alike. The ribbon cutting highlighted the strong collaboration between local leaders, businesses, and the community—demonstrating how public-private partnerships continue to strengthen the Potomac District and Prince William County as a whole.
