Chick-Fil-A Ribbon Cutting
The wait is over! The largest Chick-fil-A in the Mid-Atlantic is open for business. What a grand time that was had by all at the Ribbon Cutting and First Bit event of the newest Chick-fil-A in the Potomac District. The owner of the franchise, Ms. Nathalie Yang expressed her admiration, love, and joy in working with Supervisor Bailey and thanked her for the leadership to facilitate bringing this project to fruition and on time in preparation for the planned ribbon cutting. Supervisor Bailey shared that Ms. Yang has a giving, caring, and passionate spirit for people and for giving back to the community. This establishment opened more opportunities for jobs, training, and advancements for its employees. The community showed up in numbers to witness the ribbon cutting and to partake of the delicious sandwiches prepared on-site for this wonderful occasion! Supervisor Bailey was joined by the BOCS Chair, Deshundra Jefferson, who was also part of the ribbon cutting. Thank you to everyone who made this day possible, said Supervisor Bailey and the community for participating. This establishment is for all of Prince William County!
Fuller Roads/Fuller Heights
We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the long-awaited Fuller Road/Fuller Heights Improvement Project, said Supervisor Andrea Bailey and Mr. Rick Canizales, Director of Prince William County Department of Transportation. Mr. Canizales proceeded to say that this project started in 2009, but it was Supervisor Bailey who, through her perseverance and leadership, was able to bring it to fruition. Supervisor Bailey thanked everyone who made this day possible, with special gratitude to the residents, businesses, military, and faith-based communities located along Fuller Road and Fuller Heights and neighboring areas. The ribbon-cutting ceremony culminated with a delicious Barbecue hosted by MSgt Le'land White (Retired), and MGySsgt Jeramiah Burns (Retired).
