Prince William County-Crisis Receiving Center Complex – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Woodbridge, VA. - - Governor Glenn Youngkin – Commonwealth of Virginia, Andrea Bailey – Vice Chair - Prince William County (PWC) Board of Supervisors and distinguished guest from around the county hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on October 8, 2025, for the Grand Opening of the Prince William County-Crisis Receiving Center Complex (CRCC) in Woodbridge, VA. The CRCC will officially opens its doors within the next 90 days to residents in need.

Governor Glenn Youngkin pledged $58 million to support crisis receiving centers across Virginia, recognizing Prince William County-CRCC as a state-of-the-art model. The theme
“A New Dawn in Public Behavioral Health” is the cornerstone of the regional and community behavioral health support system. The PWC – CRCC exists to provide timely, compassionate and evidence-based assistance. Whether you arrive with a loved one, in crisis, through laws enforcement or referral, this space was designed with one purpose: to bring peace to the hardest moment.

“To all the Pastor’s in this community, I thank you.,” said Andrea Bailey. Thank you to all the stake holders, non-for-profit stake holders, all 93 of you. When I said let’s do this in terms our community for mental health “Voice” stood up and they came,’’ Andrea said.
After the conclusion of the ribbon cutting ceremony, a guided walkthrough of the Crisis Receiving Center and Community Services Program areas was provided for distinguished guests, community leaders, stake holders and to the public.

The Crisis Receiving Center Complex (CRCC) is a state-of-the-art facility providing on-site intensive mental health service for individuals in need. It is a groundbreaking project aimed at creating a more responsive behavioral health center in Prince William County. By addressing mental health and substance use challenges, the CRCC will serve as a critical resource for individuals in crisis, providing comprehensive, timely care while reducing reliance on emergency rooms and law enforcement.

The CRCC serves as a regional crisis facility operated by Connections Health Solutions and co-located Community Services Programs for Prince William County residents at risk or having a mental health or substance abuse disorder. This partnership offers a continuum of services to address the crisis and behavioral health needs in the community.
